Introduction (473Kb)
A look at the historical setting of events leading up to the start of Daniel's account, including the activities of the remaining kings of Judah while Daniel was in Babylon.

Chapter 1 (215Kb)
Daniel arrives in Babylon as a young man. He and his friends Shadrach Meshach and Abednego set themselves apart from the crowd with a commitment from the heart.

Chapter 2 (252Kb)
King Nebuchadnezzar has a troubling dream. Only Daniel is able to interpret it with God's help.

Chapter 3 (257Kb)
Shadrach Meshach and Abednego are asked to conform to the patterns of the world or face a fiery death.

Chapter 4 (249Kb)
A chapter in the venerated Jewish Scriptures written by the king of a pagan nation. Not just any king, but the one who burned down the temple, detroyed the city of Jerusalem and took its people captive.

Chapter 5 (220Kb)
God's kingdom stands forever unchanged, but man's kingdoms fall in the twinkling of an eye. As Belshazzar throws a defiant party, Cyrus of Persia quietly enters the city and overthrows the Chaldean empire.

Chapter 6 (219Kb)
Daniel is thrust into a place where political correctness means he must not show allegiance to his God. The penalty is death.

Chapter 7 (231Kb)
Daniel is given the same vision that was given to Nebuchadnezzar in chapter 2, only this time we see these kingdoms from God's point of view as a series of voracious beasts rather than the statue of a man.

Chapter 8 (224Kb)
Greece and Persia at war, in a detailed account written 200 years before the events they describe took place.

Chapter 9 (217Kb)
One of the most astonishing chapters in the Bible, Daniel 9 includes a mathematical prophecy about the coming Messiah that could easily have been tracked and anticipated to the very day.

Chapter 10 (223Kb)
One of the spookiest chapters in the Bible, this is a look at the spiritual battles that rage around us constantly, invisible to mortal human eyes yet every bit as real as the tangible things.

Chapter 11 (257Kb)
Incredibly detailed prophecies about future battles between Seleucus and Ptolemy, so precise that critics have no options but to argue that they must have been written after the fact.

Chapter 12 (212Kb)
A detailed look at the events surrounding the last days before the return of the Messiah.
